Ferat Ongoren

Experience

Mr. Ongoren joined Bain Capital Public Equity in 2016. He is a Managing Director.

Prior to joining Bain Capital Public Equity, Mr. Ongoren was a Portfolio Manager of the Putnam Global Industrials Fund, the Putnam Global Sector Fund, the Putnam Research Fund, as well as the Portfolio Manager on a global industrials hedge fund. He was also an analyst in Putnam’s Global Equity Research Group focused on the industrials sector. Prior to Putnam, Mr. Ongoren was with Citigroup in a variety of roles including Director, Industrials Sector Specialist in US Equities, as well as Vice President positions in both Equity Research and Investment Banking.


Education

Mr. Ongoren received his M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at NYU and holds a bachelor’s degree from Bosphorus University in Istanbul, Turkey.
